Collection: Tea pots
I love making teapots. There is something about them that appeals to me.
There are a few set in stone rules that have to be correct such as the height of the spout compared to the total height of the pot, the filling hole in relation to the pouring spout when it is at an angle in use. Even how many holes there are in relation to the diameter of the spout is an essential element that is needed to make a good pouring teapot. Once you've got that framework established you can be as free as you like with the design!
My teapots are styled on a Korean design that rather took my fancy during my early years of becoming a potter. They are small by western standards but beautiful and fully functional even so.
