A 2 cup wood fired tea pot with a cane handle.
This teapot was fired at the Hempmill Pottery and Cookery school during the summer of 2020 in a wood fired 'train' kiln, so called because it looks very like a train. This particular piece was sited higher up in the kiln allowing it to develop the flame effects on the outer surface. The inside has a liner glaze but the outside had no glaze applied before the firing, it has been lightly glazed only by the ash from the fire and as such is completely unique.
It has my makers mark under the spout.
Approx 8cm (18cm to the handle) x 14 cm x 18 cm.
